  • Warehouse Associate/Equipment Operator

    Pay: $13.50 – $19.50 per hour

    Hours: Full-time

    Duties:

    Description

    • Pulling / checking orders

    • Shipping and receiving
    • Other duties as assigned by Warehouse Manager
    • Work a flexible schedule in order to meet Customer and Company needs, which may include extended shifts and weekend work; maintain consistent adherence to schedule.
    • Other duties as assigned by Leadership.

    Physical Requirements:

    • Flexible individual who can adjust and perform during varying levels of work demand, including being flexible with work hours. Must be able to work extended days and weekends, as needed and directed. – Knowledge of Warehouse processes a plus but not required.
    • Must be able to spend extended time standing, walking, and working in a warehouse environment. (90% of time spent on your feet) – Occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs. may be required. – Ability to operate a forklift, pallet jack, Reach Truck and other warehouse equipment is a plus but not required. We are willing to train. – Must be able to perform basic mathematical calculations. – Ability to follow, practices, policies and procedures.

  • Second Shift Shipping & Receiving Customer Services Clerk

    +

    Pay: Up to $15.50 per hour

    Hours : Monday through Friday 3pm to Closing

    Duties:

    • Getting drivers checked in RTIC with orders provided by driver.
    • Communicating with drivers and customers to meet special loading pattern/ requirements.
    • Working with customers and customer service representatives to ensure MCS receives all orders, and get updates of possible delays.
    • Assigning drivers to doors and explain them the Manfredi loading procedures.
    • Send all necessary paperwork to the warehouse for loading, along with whatever else is requested by customer, such as temperature recorder, labels, pallet tags etc.
    • Constant communication with the dock supervisor to get loading updates, to update memos for each truck as needed.
    • Assist warehouse supervisors with any loading issues and communicating the problem to the customer.
    • Working with customers to resolve loading issues.
    • Assist with phone calls from customers, carriers and driver to help with their needs.
    • Communicating with the yard jockey to get empty trailers or containers pulled out.
    • Monitoring emails to help customers/carriers with their needs.
    • Schedule appointments via phone call or via email.
    • Checking all pending folders to discard any orders/inbounds that are no longer valid.
    • Processing all inbound and outbound loads properly.
    • Signing drivers out, providing them all necessary paperwork.
    • Sending customers all the requested paperwork.
    • File all paperwork at the end of the night.
    • Turn off all computers and calculators at the end of the night.
    • Communicating upper management if supplies are needed in the satellite offices.

    Physical Requirements:

    • Proficient in the English language to communicate with drivers and customers
    • Good verbal and written communications skills
    • Ability to be good at taking direction
    • Highly focused and great attention to detail
    • Must be proficient with general computer skills including Microsoft Software & email
    • Standing for long periods of time behind a computer terminal is required
    • Walk throughout facility to dock area is required
    • Comfortable working in an “open work office” environment

    Educational/Work Requirements:

    • One or two years in an office or corporate environment
    • Previous data entry experience preferred
    • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Machine Production Cleaner

    +

    Pay: $14.00/hour

    Hours : Monday- Saturday

    • Monday through Friday: 6:00PM – ~3:00AM (45 min break). *
    • Saturday 4:00PM – ~9:00PM (45 min break). *

    *May be required to stay additional hours to complete all tasks. This schedule can be changed by a Supervisor based on Production needs.

    Duties:

    Expected to follow tasks given by supervisors related to handling different machine cleaning equipment. Machine Cleaners are to learn and possibly train new machine cleaning and sanitation. They are to continually observe and improve the quality of work from each employee. Machine cleaner is to attend meetings on a continuous basis, following our procedures: 

    • Work Environment: be able to withstand regularly cold temperatures (45 degrees). May involve wet environments. Expected to rarely lift a maximum weight of 50 lbs. Expected to regularly lift a weight of 30 lbs.
    • Reports to Machine Cleaner Supervisor.
    • Physical Requirements: Expected to stand, walk, and walk up and down stairs on a daily basis.
    • Be responsible to present to work on time and daily. If you cannot come to work, call/text as soon as possible. 
    • Wear work provided gear at all times (safety glasses, vest). Also expected to wear specific protective equipment when using chemicals. 
    • Following GMP’s and Work Safety rules.
    • Report to Food Safety Department daily.
    • Cleaning may include, but is not limited to:
      • Building 1: Rail Dock/Q Dock/Bailer/Drains, Repack 1: Citrus/ Avocado Machines, Kiwi Lines.
      • Building 3: Tunnel and Repack Area 2 tables and conveyors.
    • Our Tools are red or are labeled “for repack only” and may only be used in the repack floor such as the mop buckets and squeegees found in the gated chemical storage area.

    Cleaning tasks:

    1. Learn and teach the lock out tag out process for cleaning machinery.
    2. Safely use chemical foamer (vestal sprayer water hose end).
    3. Use electric power washer.
    4. Use a back pack vacuum to remove small fruits.
    5. Use a wheeled shop vacuum to collect liquid rinsate.
    6. Safely use of floor scrubber to deep clean production floor.
    7. Sweeping production floors at the end of the production day.
    8. Clean yellow borders around facility 
    9. Safely refill using a wall mounted premixer chemical sprayer bottles for production at end of day.
    10. Cleaning up spills.
    11. May clean bathrooms if back-up is needed
    12. Place mats before production starts for employees (first shift)
    13. Refill boot dip mat if needed
    14. Wash waste fruit bins, trash bins, and step stools
    15. Help when dumping product 
    16. Clean drains 
    17. Help re-collect pallets at end of day
    18. Help put things where they belong at end of the day
    19. Clean light fixtures and help in all around cleaning
    20. Replacing brooms or tools needed to complete such tasks
    21. Report missing, broken, or lost tools or materials associated to the tasks 
    22. Machine cleaners will be dedicated to mainly food processing equipment, but are not limited to the above tasks.

    Physical/Skill Requirements:

    • Expected to stand, walk, and walk up and down stairs on a daily basis.
    • Environment: Be able to withstand regularly cold temperatures (45 degrees). May involve wet environments. Expected to rarely lift a maximum weight of 50 lbs. Expected to regularly lift a weight of 30 lbs.
    • Fluent in Spanish and English preferred.

  • Daytime Sanitation Production Cleaner

    Pay: $11.00/hour (OT available)

    Hours : Monday to Sunday 7:00 AM – Production ends

    Duties:

    The main task of the day time Sanitation Production Cleaner is to make sure production cleanliness/sanitation is being met while being occupied with the following tasks:

    • Reports to Daytime Sanitation Supervisor.
    • Understanding of chemicals, Safety Data Sheets, with an aptitude to calculate chemical dilutions, and resulting concentrations.
    • Be responsible to present to work on time and daily. If you cannot come to work, call/text as soon as possible.
    • Wear work provided gear at all times (safety glasses, vest). Also expected to wear specific protective equipment when using chemicals.
    • Following GMP’s and Work Safety rules.
    • Report to Supervisor building damages.
    • Cleaning may include, but is not limited to:
      • Building 1: Rail Dock/Q Dock/ Repack 1/ Outside perimeter.
      • Building 3: Tunnel and Repack Area 2/ outside perimeter.

    Supervisor will also train the Daytime Sanitation Production Cleaner on the following:

    1. Usage of an electric power washer.
    2. Usage of water vapor machine.
    3. Usage of a back pack vacuum to remove small fruits.
    4. Usage of wheeled shop vacuum to collect liquid rinsate.
    5. Usage of floor scrubber to deep clean production floor.
    6. Usage of pallet jack, floor sweeping and scrubbing equipment.

     Additional following tasks are distributed to the Sanitation Team:

    • Removing waste.
    • Disposal of cardboard.
    • Sweeping production areas.
    • Re-filling production boot dip mat.
    • Refilling chemical bottles for production.
    • Fruit disposal.
    • Placing work mats.
    • Washing work mats.
    • Determine when trash compactor is full and report this to the Daytime Sanitation Supervisor in order for pick-up.
    • May clean bathrooms if back-up is needed.
    • Other additional tasks if needed.

    The Daytime Sanitation Production Cleaner will also report completed tasks so the Daytime Sanitation Supervisor fills out documentation after such tasks are completed on Production Master Sanitation checklists listed:

    • Daily Sanitation Log.
    • Weekly Sanitation Log.
    • Chemical Inventory Log.
    • Boot Dip Concentration Log.
    • Quaternary Ammonia Sanitizer Strength Verification.

    Physical/Skill Requirements:

    • Expected to stand, walk, and walk up and down stairs on a daily basis.

  • IT Technician Level One

    We are looking for a tech-savvy help desk technician to be responsible for providing technical assistance with computer systems, hardware, and software. As a help desk technician, you are responsible for responding to email, chat, or phone queries and offering technical support to personnel using computer systems, hardware, and software at both our PA & NJ locations.

    To be a successful help desk technician, you should be well-versed in all aspects of computer systems configuration, set up, and maintenance. You should also have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

    Salary:  $40,000.00 – $45,000.00

    Technician Responsibilities:

    • Responding to queries on the phone, via email, in person, or through remote access.
    • Offering technical assistance on the delivery, configuration, set up, maintenance, and troubleshooting of computer systems, hardware, and software at both PA and NJ locations.
    • Training computer users.
    • Training other staff on troubleshooting and diagnosing problems.
    • Gaining feedback from customers to improve training methods.
    • Writing and editing training manuals.
    • Running reports and analyzing common complaints and problems.
    • Other duties and projects as assigned.

    Technician Requirements:

    • An Associate’s degree in computer science or related field.
    • A strong working knowledge of computer systems, basic programming, hardware, and software.
    • Must be familiar with Microsoft products including Windows & Office.
    • Good problem-solving, analytical, and team-working skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • An openness to learning new technologies.
    • Basic Network knowledge.

    Schedule:

    • Job primarily based in PA but requires a minimum of eight (8) hours per week servicing our NJ location.
