    Job Description:

    • Purpose:
      • The Food Safety Coordinator’s essential role is making sure that the product handled by Manfredi Corporations is safely stored and processed to prevent any contamination and delivered to the customer meeting their standard. Follow FDA, PDA, 3rd party auditing guidelines, Organic Guidelines, Non-GMO guidelines, etc.
    • Scope:
      • This position affects all departments of the Manfredi Corporations that handle, transports, stores, distributes, processes and repacks products for human consumption.
    • Responsibility:
      • The Food Safety Coordinator is responsible for ensuring that SOPs are properly created, edited, and archived. Management of all corporations and departments are responsible for compliance in assuring the set standards of processes, procedures, and company policies are being met.
    • Reports to:
      • Food Safety Manager
    • Job Tasks (not limited to the following):
      • Reviewing food safety processes and procedures and ensuring that food is in compliance with government food regulations.
      • Trains incoming new employees and continues to train current employees to meet food safety standards.
      • Makes reports from observations related to Food safety and report findings to management or supervisors to resolve.
      • Scheduling needs: Create, manage, adjust schedule as needed based on season for department.
      • Assists in Management of Day time/ Night time Sanitation team including Janitorial staff.
      • Assists in Management of Food Safety Technicians, Sanitation Supervisors.
      • Creates meeting minutes for food safety meetings.
      • Schedule food safety support services needed within lunchrooms, production areas, and facility.
      • Request supplies to Food Safety Director for Food Safety Department that are needed to protect the product and workers doing the job. This may include supplies to other departments as well.
      • Report employees whom violate Food Safety to management to follow up disciplinary action procedure.
      • Handle Disciplinary Action procedure for Sanitation and Food Safety department.
      • Provide annual reviews to all personnel who fall into the Sanitation department and Food Safety Department for Food Safety Manager to review.
      • Approve/deny Time-Off requests based on scheduling of the Food Safety Department.
      • Schedule work hours for Food safety department and Sanitation department.
      • Support in accident reporting.
      • Attend on-going trainings to stay up to date with current FSMA and other related guidelines.
      • Provide assistance with development of training materials.
      • Provide time studies to ensure work efficiency of Sanitation department.
      • Complete Notice of Unusual Occurrence and Corrective Actions when necessary.
      • Review / assists food safety technicians for Internal Audit reports on a Monthly basis.
      • Monthly Inspection of pest control internal traps of WH & Repack.
    • Minimum Requirements:
      • 1 year experience in a food safety related position required
      • HACCP certification a plus
      • Able to write and speak English and Spanish fluently
  • Cold Storage Facility Office Admin Clerk (Pedricktown, NJ)



    – Monday through Friday Weekends Included – Rotating Schedule


    $16.00/hr and a $3.00 Differential for Closing Shift

    Job Description:

    – Getting drivers checked in RTIC with orders provided by driver.

    – Communicating with drivers and customers to meet special loading pattern/ requirements.

    – Working with customers and customer service representatives to ensure MCS receives all orders, and get updates of possible delays.

    – Assigning drivers to doors and explain them the Manfredi loading procedures.

    – Send all necessary paperwork to the warehouse for loading, along with whatever else is requested by customer, such as temperature recorder, labels, pallet tags etc.

    – Constant communication with the dock supervisor to get loading updates, to update memos for each truck as needed.

    – Assist warehouse supervisors with any loading issues and communicating the problem to the customer.

    – Working with customers to resolve loading issues.

    – Assist with phone calls from customers, carriers and driver to help with their needs.

    – Communicating with the yard jockey to get empty trailers or containers pulled out.

    – Monitoring emails to help customers/carriers with their needs.

    – Schedule appointments via phone call or via email.

    – Checking all pending folders to discard any orders/inbounds that are no longer valid.

    – Processing all inbound and outbound loads properly.

    – Signing drivers out, providing them all necessary paperwork.

    – Sending customers all the requested paperwork.

    – File all paperwork at the end of the night.

    – Turn off all computers and calculators at the end of the night.

    – Communicating upper management if supplies are needed in the satellite offices.

    Abilities Requirements:

    – Proficient in the English language to communicate with drivers and customers

    – Good verbal and written communications skills

    – Ability to be good at taking direction

    – Highly focused and great attention to detail

    – Must be proficient with general computer skills including Microsoft Software & email

    Physical Work Environment Requirements:

    – Standing for long periods of time behind a computer terminal is required

    – Walk throughout facility to dock area is required

    – Comfortable working in an “open work office” environment

    Work Experience Required:

    – One or two years in an office or corporate environment

    – Previous data entry experience preferred

    Education Requirements:

    – High school diploma or equivalent.
